Daniella has been a principal of leading Melbourne criminal law firms since 2006, and established Markotich Lawyers in early 2008. Hard working, conscientious and committed, Daniella regularly appears in court as a solicitor advocate, fighting hard to get the best possible outcome for her clients.
Daniella has an extensive background, representing defendants in all areas of criminal and motor traffic law. Daniella has defended thousands of matters in the Magistrates’, County and Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeal.

Growing up in Cairns, North Queensland, Daniella graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Laws degree. While at university she was awarded two scholarships in recognition of her ability and work ethic.
After working for a number of years at a top tier firm in Brisbane, Daniella moved to Melbourne to work as a criminal defence lawyer.
