Daniella began her legal career at a top tier international law firm before finding her passion in criminal defence law. Daniella’s career in criminal defence law encompasses many high-profile cases in Melbourne and throughout Australia. Daniella has been a Principal of a law firm since 2006 and commenced Markotich Lawyers in 2008, earning herself a reputation as a well-respected, fierce negotiator and solicitor advocate.

Focused and hardworking, Daniella is dedicated to representing and protecting the rights of her clients in all areas of criminal law, from traffic offences to sexual offences and murder. Daniella has a deep compassion and understanding of the individual circumstances of clients, which drives her to continue challenging police and prosecution to uphold the entrenched rights to a fair trial and the prevalence of justice within the judicial system.
